Stacy and Ken are currently working on a kids nature book for Falcon Guides, an imprint of Globe Pequot Press. It will out in spring 2013.
Stacy’s most recent work is Project Garden, a 200-page activity book from Adams Media. This month-to-month guide to gardening is perfect for the little sprouts in your life. It features projects to do, plants to grow and garden-inspired recipes to make and eat.
Over the years, Stacy has written more than a dozen fiction and non-fiction pieces for children’s magazines, including work for Highlights for Kids, the science publication, KNOW and the Newspaper Association of America.
She also has a picture book, Cathy’s Animal Garden, from the lovely independent press, Elva Resa. It’s illustrated by the wonderful artist, Samantha Bell.
Ken is a freelance nature writer. His work has appeared in Birds & Blooms magazine and he recently contributed to the Kaufman Field Guide to New England, due out in fall 2012.
Stacy and Ken are represented by the talented, positive, endearing and wonderful literary agent, Uwe Stender of Triada US Literary Agency.
